2nd Annual Derby Party
Saturday, May 3, 2025
Medicinal Whiskey Charity is hosting our 2nd Annual Kentucky Derby Party and Concert Event on Saturday, May 3 at Revel Event Center in Greenville, SC. Get excited about this year's musical guest The 502's!
All funds raised from the event will directly benefit Clement's Kindness and BI-LO Charities Children's Cancer Center. Last year's Derby party raised $150,000 for these two charities who each have a huge impact in our community by addressing the medical, psychological, social, emotional, and financial needs of Upstate families impacted by pediatric cancer and other serious blood disorders.
Join us for an evening of fun kicking off with a Derby watch party and ending with a live concert by The 502's. If you haven't heard them yet, you don't want to miss this. The 502's have been described as "The Happiest Band on Earth!" - Guaranteed to get the crowd moving!
Once again, we will offer an incredible bourbon selection, open bar (beer, wine, liquor), and delicious southern fare.
Doors open at 5:30pm! Dress is Derby or festive spring attire.
Thank you to our Headline Sponsor, Foster Victor Wealth Advisors and Bourbon Sponsor, Bardstown Bourbon Company!

3rd Annual Winter Gala
Saturday December 14, 2024
Medicinal Whiskey Charity hosted our 3rd Annual Winter Gala on Saturday Dec 14 at the Carrick House in Lexington, KY.
The event not only raised over $300,000 to directly benefit the UK Healthcare Transplant Center and Kentucky Children's Hospital, but we had a great time with friends old and new, and enjoyed great bourbon and even better company.
Special thanks to Erick Ostrander and the Paddock Bourbon Club, Fred and Freddie Noe and the James B Beam Distilling Company, Drew and Janelle Kulsveen and Willett Distillery, and all of our wonderful sponsors and Gala supporters for their immense generosity to make this such a special and unique event!
Special donated barrels for the event included the one of a kind oldest Knob Creek single barrel bottle ever, an unbelievable 20 year (!) Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey picked by Medicinal Whiskey Charity and James B Beam master distiller Fred Noe, and “The Begrudging Truth,” an incredible 10 year 11 month old 130.2 proof bottle of Willett Family Estate Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, the unanimous choice of our barrel pick team among 6 barrel samples selected for us by Willett Distillery.
With a live and silent auction of incredible experiences and items as well as open bar, rare pour bar, special master distiller led tasting, sit down dinner and the return of Zack Attack as the musical entertainment, it truly was a night to remember!
All proceeds benefit UK Transplant Center and Kentucky Children’s Hospital
